The greatest of them all without question is when Jesus was about to bow his head and give up his spirit, he cried out “It is finished!” John 19:30 NIV. Those were not just words stuck in history 2000 years ago, but words that are setting people free from one generation to another over all the earth. How fantastic is that!

Jesus gave his life for YOU!

First know him as one who gave his life for you. I say "gave his life for you" instead of "died for you" just to make plain that he chose to die. He planned to die. He embraced death for you. He didn’t stumble in front of the divine bullet meant for you; he stepped in front of it. Mark 10:45, "The Son of Man came . . . to give his life as a ransom for many." So know him that way.

The bible says that "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." (Romans 3:23) There is nothing that we can do on our own to restore our relationship with God. That is why He sent His son, Jesus, to die for you, taking upon Him self the punishment for our sins in order that we might walk freely. However, we all have a choice to make. We can choose to accept that we are sinners, which simply means that we have missed the mark, or we can go on living our own life, never experiencing the tender mercies and goodness of God’s heart towards us.
The Bible tells us we must then confess with our mouths that Jesus is Lord and believe in our hearts that God raised Him from the dead and we will be saved. (Romans 10:10)

Receiving Jesus?

If you would like to know Jesus for yourself, receiving Jesus in your life, living according to His Word and being put right with Him, you can pray this simple prayer.

Father, Thank You for sending your son Jesus to die on the cross on my behalf. The Bible says that if I confess with my mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in my heart that God raised Him from the dead, I will be saved. I now confess that Jesus is my Lord and believe in my heart that you raised Him from the dead and therefore I am saved. I ask your forgiveness for all my sins, please cleanse me from all sin and give me a brand new start. Come into my heart and fill me with Your Holy Spirit. I choose to live for you for the rest of my life.
In Jesus name, Amen

If you have prayed this sincerely, go and tell someone about it. I would love to hear from you, please email me. You have become a Christian and all heaven and earth is rejoicing about it

WINSTON CHURCHHILL

Winston Churchill - June 18, 1940 In this speech to the House of Commons, Prime Minister Winston Churchill discusses the disastrous turn of events in Europe with the realization that Britain now stands alone against the seemingly unstoppable German military juggernaut. “Hitler knows that he will have to break us in this Island or lose the war. If we can stand up to him, all Europe may be free and the life of the world may move forward into broad, sunlit uplands. But if we fail, then the whole world, including the United States, including all that we have known and cared for, will sink into the abyss of a new Dark Age made more sinister, and perhaps more protracted, by the lights of perverted science. Let us therefore brace ourselves to our duties, and so bear ourselves that if the British Empire and its Commonwealth last for a thousand years, men will still say, 'This was their finest hour.'”

"I Have A Dream"

When we let freedom ring, when we let it ring from every village and every hamlet, from every state and every city, we will be able to speed up that day when all of God's children, black men and white men, Jews and Gentiles, Protestants and Catholics, will be able to join hands and sing in the words of the old Negro spiritual, "Free at last! free at last! thank God Almighty, we are free at last!"

"I Have A Dream" by Martin Luther King, Jr,
